It all begins with you. You are the one God chose to be a foster or adoptive parent to the kid(s) in your care. For days, months or years - you are the one who gets to show them how valuable they are; how deeply they are loved.
This podcast is a gift for you in response to your courage to love those who may never love you back; those who have been through incredible trauma and life experiences. This resource is to remind you: you aren’t alone on your journey to parent these kids. From burn out to overwhelm, I’ve been in similar places. The struggle is real, but it won’t be this hard forever - especially if we walk with others.
Your love is big, but it may not be enough. The work you are doing is a very important piece of the puzzle this child needs to heal. With each milestone, adventure, and step forward I want to walk alongside you and remind you that you can rely on God to love through you. Your biggest strength is Him. Keep on loving. Continue to choose to show up for them.
