You Have What It Takes podcasts will have a variety of different episode styles and forms. Some weeks, I will tell you a story such as Ep 01: The Sevengs. Some will more informational - sharing what I’ve learned on a topic such as Ep 02: Knowing Your Kid. Many episodes will have a bonus mini-episode called a Mindfulness Moment.
Being mindful means to literally be in the present. During the Mindfulness Moment will have a chance to take a break from life & notice what is happening around you. Taking the time to be present in our surroundings can allow us to be more calm, self aware and fully process information - instead of trying to move quickly through things.
Some weeks, there will be free printable documents to download/print so you can process information with me during the Mindfulness Moment. Other episodes will just require a quiet, comfy place to reflect or breathe. Occasionally, I will encourage you to gather a handful of supplies for an activity.
These mini-episodes are opportunities for you to get a little more information; notice what you already know and grasp concepts using creative methodologies. So, be brave and participate with an open mind. You never know how it may change your perspective.
